Zero

My little Bedlington Whippet Zero was always on the nervous side but (understandably!) got a lot worse when he was attacked quite badly by another dog in the park. We muddled through keeping him away from green spaces and other dogs, the sight of either would have him frozen in fear.

Things got a lot worse when his adolescent hormones kicked in, and he would reactively lunge with aggression whenever he saw a dog, even in the distance; he was also on high alert near constantly at home, alert barking at the slightest provocation and struggling to switch off and calm down. His daily walks, though necessary, were rarely enjoyable and filled me and my partner with anxiety.

After ten sessions with Anthony, working in between on the drills and exercises he prescribed, it is no exaggeration to say that Zero is near completely transformed. Barking at other dogs has become the rare exception, rather than the rule, and Zero will calm down moments after these interactions, rather than being upset and hyper vigilant after them. At home, he is a much calmer dog, a fact attested to by all our friends.

This change is undoubtedly because of Anthony’s guidance. From the first session I was confident in his expertise, and grateful for his clear, patient approach. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to bear on the dog in front of him, and it is crystal clear that he knows dogs very well. I have no reservations in recommending him to anyone looking for help with their dog.
