1:1 Training

Appointment, Cancellation and Training Package Policy

Due to limited availability, appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client. To ensure fairness to all clients, any appointment forming part of a training package that is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 72 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session rate (excluding any additional expenses such as travel costs).

All 1:1 training sessions and training packages must be used within 6 months of the original purchase date. Any unused sessions remaining after this period will be considered forfeited and the training package deemed complete.

Pre-paid training packages, including blocks of 3 or 10 sessions, are non-refundable. At the discretion of Oxford Dog Training Company, unused sessions may be transferred to an alternative service, such as group classes or workshops, where appropriate.

 

Late Arrival and Non-Attendance Policy

Oxford Dog Training Company operates a 15-minute attendance policy for all scheduled 1:1 appointments.

If a client fails to attend a scheduled session, or arrives more than 15 minutes after the agreed start time without prior notice, the session will be considered delivered and deducted from the client’s package. The session will not be refundable or transferable.

If a client anticipates being delayed, they are encouraged to make contact as soon as possible so that alternative arrangements can be considered where practical.

 

Oxford Dog Training Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services where a client repeatedly fails to attend appointments, fails to follow agreed safety requirements, or engages in abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards staff.

Remote Behavioural Assessments and Ask The Trainer

Our remote training options are non-refundable. Any remote training purchased needs to be used within 6 months of purchase – after which time the order is considered completed.

Training Guides

Our downloadable training guides are non-refundable.

The Calm Dog Workshop

1. You can cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund.

2. If your dog is not approved, you will be notified by email. From the time the email is sent, you have 24 hours to cancel and receive a full refund. If you do not cancel within this time, your place will be confirmed without your dog, and the standard cancellation policy will apply.

3. If you cancel after 24 hours, but more than 30 days before the course start date, you will receive a 50% refund, minus a 10% processing fee.

4. No refunds will be given if you cancel less than 30 days before the course start date or if you do not attend the event.

5. Transfers and rescheduling are at the discretion of the Oxford Dog Training Company.

6. Refunds may take 1 to 2 billing cycles to appear on your statement.

Dog Registration Terms & Conditions

1. Your dog must be approved before attending.

2. If your dog is approved, you are responsible for your dog’s care, supervision, and behaviour at all times.

3. Your dog must be spayed or neutered to attend , unless an exception is approved for dogs under 10 months old.

4. Your dog must be vaccinated, and proof of vaccination may be required.

5. Aggressive dogs or dogs with behavioural issues are allowed, subject to approval.

6. If you provide false or misleading information about your dog, you will be removed from the course without a refund.
